I got this because I needed a pow deck in the quiver, but the rocket nearly killed my quiver build.. Super versatile deck that rules in nearly every kondition.. Rules in pow and groomers but also super fun in the park. If its really icy I take one of the decks I have with mag, othervise I always ride the Rocket..
I got to demo the Rocket on Mt. Hood this past summer and it was among some of the best times I've ever had on a snowboard. I thought it was going to take me a little time to get used to it, because of its unique shape, but from the get go, this board just felt right. I hope to one day ride the Rocket in pow because carving on it felt amazing.
As a long time rider of bigger boards for float in the deep I am blown away by this little stick. It is truly a one board quiver. It rips everything and is nimble in tight trees. My longer boards collected dust all last season.
This board rules. So much float so much surfy fun. Fun board in the park.
This 2019 Lib-Tech Matt Biolos inspired "Rocket" snowboard is... SICK!! So far I have only had the chance to ride it on packed powder days at Mammoth Mtn & Big Bear. If you like to carve, this board carves like a dream and has incredible rebound out of the turns. The wide width allows for almost zero toe/heal overhang with my size 11 boots. The board is super light and looks like it is going to float like a dream in the powder!! Can't wait!!
