ALL MOUNTAIN - DIRECTIONAL

~Travis Rice

Beginner level snowboards are fun and approachable for all riders while an advanced snowboard is tuned for a particularly aggressive / athletic style of snowboarding.

Flex

How easily does this snowboard bend under pressure? A soft flex is great for fun maneuverability while a stiff flex is better for aggressive high speed hill bombing.

Can do err thing. Super fun.

I’m a Pisces but I’d rather be killa whale. This thing is FUN. Powder, no problem. All mountain steeze, no problem. Overpriced? Yes...but get a deal on one or sell a kidney because it’s worth it. This board is the hype and yes you’ll see them all around the mountain...which isn’t a bad thing. If the haters hate, it’s because they don’t have one and want one and need excuses to make themselves feel better for not having one. Fanboy board? Man, that Mad Snowboard youtuber guy is a kook anyways. Don’t believe him. This thing shreds and T.Rice and Lib Tech killed it with this board. HP version all day, I couldn’t imagine having a flexores one, but then again, I need stiffer boards. Oh for size, I went 150, I’m 5’6” 170lbs sz 9 foot. If I went to AK or Baldface, I’d want the 153. Lake Tahoe, 150 is perfect. Not a quiver killer so don’t expect that. Booze cruise.

A Total Blast!

I did a lot of research and read a ton of reviews before actually pulling the trigger and buying this board. I was a little nervous since none of the reviews I found were from women and everyone was pretty tall. However, this board has taken my ability to the next level. I’m 5’ 3” ballpark 130# and I chose to ride the 144. Lib Tech recommended the 147 but my board before this was a 142 so I didn’t want to go that much bigger as they typically recommend to ride this board shorter than you normally would. This is hands down the best all mountain board. This thing can grip the icy slopes of the east like nothing else and rides groomers and powder in Colorado like an absolute beast! I’ve only ridden it 4 times but each time it got better and better. If you’re looking for an excellent all mountain board to ride from the east to west coast slopes, this is the best gig around. Buy it!! It’s worth every cent.

Beast

I’m 5’10. 130lbs. Size 9.5 boot. I went with the 150 instead of 147 cos I’m currently putting on some weight. I was a little nervous the board was gonna feel too big for my weight range but,,, boy was I wrong. I live in LA so bear is my local and I took this thing on some hard packed icy groomers and never felt more confident. You lock into turns with ease, it’s stable as can be, still has some decent pop for those side hits, and you freaking fly! (Turn initiation is also fast af boi) You can point this nose and straight line down some steep BUMPY runs and not have to worry about the board giving or wiping out. For reference. Longest run at snow summit is 1.25miles and I made it down in about a 1 min 45 sec. Speed baby. Planning to go to mammoth within the month and hopefully reach some powder so I can really test this beauty out. Thank you lib tech and Travis for this machine

Couldn't be happier, a quiver killer

This board is an absolute dream in the powder, but it also shreds icy conditions. I even had a complete park day last weekend on it. I'm not a great park rider but it was for sure good enough for me. This board is also super fast with its sintered base. I would definitely recommend this board for any one looking for a great powder board that will also tear up any other terrain. I ride a 153, I sized down from a 159, Im 5'11 160 lbs.

A fun directional stick, with insane edge hold and power to surgically slice through the sketchie...

I have been designing TWS Top 10 Good Wood winning snowboards for another manufacturer for nearly a decade. This is the first board I have ridden that I did not design in as many years. First off, Lib has always ben an inspiration for me as a shaper and designer. After no longer working for a snowboard manufacturer, buying a Lib as my first board purchase since I was a kid, was a no-brainer. At 6'6" tall, 240 Lbs, size 13 boot, I was torn between the 159 and 162. I ended up on the 162 even though it is volume shifted and was a little apprehensive about the additional length on a volume shifted board. BOY WAS I SURPRISED when I hopped on it. This thing is FUN. Not too stiff like some reviews had suggested. Took a few runs to get used to the edge to edge transitions but once I did, I was railing through windblown chop and crusty pow like I was in a Ferrari on a Race track. Hoowwwwdy this rocket sure likes to go fast and hard. Pop in the tail had me shook with how natural it felt off the lip with a little extra boost in the air. Buttery nose flex, stiff and springy tail, fun on a flat base albeit a little more certain of its trajectory than expected between edges. Already looking at another deck to build up the quiver but leaving the Orca mounted as a daily driver without question. Always on the hunt for a quiver killer, this deck does it for me. I could ride this for years without needing to step on another board. But you know, that Stump Ape looks like it would be fun to add to the board bag too.
