The 170 UW is one intersting board for sure, and my first time on a directional twin. As a big fella stand at 6'6" and 270 lbs this board floats like a dream. Took a bit of time to learn how to stop in this thing but on the slopes it turns like a dream, and makes somewhat difficult jumps incredibly easy. Don't let the wiggly edge freak you out, it works! Heaviest board I've ever had too.
Bought this board (170UW) after a 10 year hiatus from the mountains. I'm 6' 1" and weigh 330 lbs. Took it to Baker on the maiden voyage and it just road like a dream. What a forgiving board. It made getting back into boarding easy. It was a little hard to turn at first on the groomers until I started really putting it on its edge. No problems after that. LOVE this board. Big guys dream board.
I’m 6’2” 220lbs and bought the 161W and ride in British Columbia, Canada. I’m an advanced/expert boarder and love riding powder and trees. Board is awesome on groomers; edge hold and carving are amazing. Board can handle speed and base is tough and can take hits off rocks. Skunkape is great in up to a foot powder. Deep powder though my nose bogs down even with a set-back stance causing me to nose dive. I should have gone with the 165W. A slightly wider tip and tail board in the 160’s range would be awesome to fix this and still let me do tight turns in the trees. Board is fun just make sure you buy a little longer if you ride deep powder. Might keep this as my freestyle board.

Best board I ever owned. Broke last years model at the end of the season (169W) but was the best season I ever had on snow. This stick makes everything easy and moves like the wind. Can’t wait to try out the new board with an amazing new design!!
