T.Rice Orca II

I rode Salomon Definition 160cm to the past decade. I bought Orca 153cm for my Japan Powder trip. It rules in powder and trees. The powder can be waist deep and you can just point this thing and do not worry. It is really short, but when I put it on top of Salomon Definition 160. It is actually same size given the ends would be rounded. It is wider and different profile. The only thing I do not like is the speed at flats, specially catwalk runs. Everybody goes way further and faster. But I did not wax it yet and maybe it is not waxed from production. This is a powder, trees & backcountry board.

I've been riding Orca for over a month now. At different conditions of snow and temperature, and I can say that it is extremely stable in all conditions and speeds. Of the more than 60 descents, she dropped me only once. I'm very excited!

Rode this in norway in 50cm of fresh pow and it is so much fun compared to my old pow board. which is the burton fish 156. this is just a freestyle monster for pow shredding!

I don’t know if a snowboard could get any better/more fun. If I could ride one board for any condition for the rest of my life it would be this one. I’ve been riding for over 17 years and haven’t ridden a board so good at everything. It's™ a daily driver, a powder board, it turns, it just flows throughout the entire mountain. The medium/stiff flex does not wash out. It is not too stiff so you can drive through turns and still feel like you are controlling the board and the boards not controlling you. The edge hold is on point not too grippy and just helps give you confidence on ice when conditions are not ideal. The rocker between the feet and aggressive short camber in the tail gives you quick edge to edge transitions, and you can really steer and drive the board with the back foot. I purchased the 153 size. I am 5’ 9, 180lbs, and I wear a size 10.5 boot Hopefully that helps.

First I've been riding Lib Tech for almost two decades and I own 6 other Travis Rice boards but this board is a BEAST! I've rode it on groomers, bumps and yes powder, deep, deep POWDER. This is the only board I will be taking to Baldface Lodge in March. Thanks Travis and Lib Tech you guys have out done yourself.
