Flex

How easily does this ski bend under pressure? A soft flex is great for fun maneuverability while a stiff flex is better for aggressive high speed bombing.

Like a rabbit in spring

I have 2 other models of Libtech skis and rate them so much. Quality, strength, responsive, fun, playful.... just great skis. So when my Movement skis fell apart after less than one season I wanted something that would last...... so i bought the UFO 95. Been on the hill with them for less than a week. They are so rad! The stiffness underfoot is amazing, the tips and tail have a little give and make them poppy and fun. For a 185cm ski, they shred on the piste, turn and respond super snappy. In the park they've been stable on the jumps and super fun on the rails. Even had them in a little powder too and they have great float. In all just an amazing ski and cant wait to get out on the mountain tomorrow. Only thing I would say is that a base to base photo on this site would have been great to get an idea of the skis profile. The nose rocker is larger than I though they'd be. I got them drilled to the recommended 'sweetspot' and have been great, but just would have been good to see the profile before. Keep making skis Libtech! highly recommended as the best skis. Been though most brands now and these are the ones!

Thanks to Lib Tech, I am a UFO

Best ski I’ve ridden, hands down. Magne traction is tough to relinquish after getting accustomed to it. Performs well in the park. Nimble. Went narrower to save my knees- much more comfortable and all around a fun ski. -2 cm back for all mountain playfulness and rips when I want to send’er. Find myself choosing these over 115 on east coast powder days. Not sure why. Just love the ski.

Great resort/touring skis

Been riding lib tech skis since 2015 - i swear no other company even competes but no one knows it in the ski industry. the ufo 95 shred any conditions. tossed a pair of shifts on them and its a great ski to ride in the resort and hop into sidecounty. i've skied these skis in terrible conditions, and good conditions - it was perfect in both.

Got 20+ days at Hood this summer on this ski.

The UFO 95 is a great ski for your all day any day type of rider. With the playful tip and tail, the ski crushes through groomers, slush, fresh snow, and park. Not only does the ski perform well under any condition, the top sheet gives it a nice clean and slick look while you’re out there at the resort, backcountry, or even the streets. Along with the playful tip and tail, the UFO 95 comes with a sturdy underfoot to insure full stability on jumps, rails, and even hard carves on anything from groomers to slush and even pow. To add, the magne-traction edges allow you to hold an edge longer than your average freestyle and big mountain ski. Along with that the control you get on the UFO 95 on rails is amazing due to the magne-traction technology. The ski response is very snappy and quick, great for fast rail tricks, carves, and even big nose and tail butter tricks. Overall the UFO 95 is a great ski to have in your quiver, because it’s perfect for all conditions and terrain.

My favorite ski for firm-cold snow, and Sun!

While all the U.F.O. skis are designed to charge, the 95 width also goes slow with ease. The 95s are certainly better for groomers and ice than the 105s. While handling the hard-pack well, these skis really excel in spring slush, or boot-deep pow days. When making turns or landing, you can feel the tip and tail flex to reduce the intensity of the G forces, then much of the remaining strain is absorbed by the stiff underfoot section of the ski. This is a good ski for skiers who are very centered, as it is designed to perform from the pressure applied underfoot, then driven forward into the softer nose, which then absorbs chatter or floats through pow with ease. I would recommend this ski to skiers who are into carving and ripping turns down the fall line, particularly in cold, chalky conditions. Most importantly, the magne-traction edge gives you mountain goat abilities when you find yourself in the steepest of the gnar. For the rider who is pushing their skis to the edge of comfort, this is a reliable tool.
