T.Rice Orca II

I love this board. I just knocked out 100 miles of riding on this after being on Arbor Element for the last 5 years. My impression is that it carves incredible and saved me multiple times when I thought I might loose an edge but it caught and I came out of a carve. I did’nt get a chance to ride it in powder yet but it carved on hard and soft groomers like nothing I’ve experienced. I love the kicked back feel and it’s forgiveness is suited for any level rider. After one day of riding I convinced my wife to get one as well and she loved it. Home run on the design and ride!

This board is a combination of the best parts of every board I have ever ridden. Might actually be my last snowboard. Well done, Travis, Lib and Mervin team!

The Orca is playful and a great all mountain board for the powder. A bit squirmy at high speeds due to the smaller tail, but you could hit any terrain in any condition with this board.

bought this board for pillow riders but nowadays it's my go to board for pretty much eveything.

True. I bought a 156 at 6’1” 185 lbs before the plague hit and finally got out on it today in California. I don’t have much to say beyond all the rumors are true It’s damp, has great edge hold and performs on groomers , both hard and soft snow , trees , groomers, chop They hype is real It’s not a quiver powder board but more of a free ride stick I usually ride 159-162 and went with 156. I also think a 159 would have been fine and I don’t think you have to size down The only thing I would nitpick about is it’s by no means slow , but is not a speed demon. Probably due to the length as the base glide after a wax is phenomenal. I was blowing by other boarders on cat tracks all day So if you’re on the fence , grab it. My 156 btw is the 2019 year 2 model which has the best graphic imo
