It takes some time to get used to so like me if you want it as a second board for powder days then it kinda sucks because of the learning curve. Its not a do it all board it is just not a very good allrounder and in my opinion it should only be sold to those that have bigger feet. Its a wide board and nothing else you can give it a different name that doesn t make it so !!
Quick, responsive, floaty on the powder, fun in the trees. I find the nose to be a little looser than I prefer once you get on harder surfaces, seems to be worse on the heel side for me. I like it a lot overall, it's not quite the unicorn quiver killer but it's really close. I'd say if you spend more time than not on hard or icy surfaces to look elsewhere, if you get to ride mostly pow/trees/fresh groomers then this is what I'd grab.
My first Libtech board was a hammy down gift from a friend and ever since any other board I get on feels like a rental. The orca will be my forever all round companion. Thanks for great quality and for a mindset that shifts the standard upwards.
I’ve been boarding since 1987, snowboard instructor and use to build boards. This is the best board I’ve ever ridden. Easy turns, carves awesome, bombs powder. It does everything effortlessly and well. I tell everyone I know to get one.
This board is insane. It's definitely made for pow and all sorts of backcountry riding but also shreds the slopes. Super fun one board quiver.
